Home Builders Bulletin

Happy Friday!  I had high hopes that I was going to be the only member of my family that would not get sick. Unfortunately, Saturday I woke up with the flu.  I have been down most of the week, and I am just now getting back on my feet.

  • A new committee was formed during our last board of directors meeting.  The “Community Partnerships”

    Habitat Restore parking lot 
    committee will be looking for community projects such as ramp builds, united way day of caring, etc… Things that help us give back to the community.  The chairman is Charlie Sample and he will be looking for people to join this committee.

 

  • Due to the success of the Parade of Homes VIP Party, the Parade of Homes Committee will again be considering prospects for the Host site.  The VIP Party is held the evening before the Parade of Homes begins.  Contact the SWMHBA office for a list of the host site criteria.

 

  • We are in desperate need of volunteers for the Home & Garden show!  I still need volunteers for the following times:  
        *  Friday                                  *  Saturday              *  Sunday  
            
    6:30 – 9:30 AM SET UP             9:00 – 12:00             10 – 1:30  
            9:30 – 12:30 SET UP                  12:00 – 3:30             1:30 – 5:00  
            12:30 – 3:30 SET UP                  3:30 – 7:00                5:00 for Tear down
            5 – 8 PM (shows open)
